Photos - Surprises - Signs (continued)
Casula
Congratulations on your work on the street name, Fred!. Excellent spacing, size and use of capitals.
Just one minor matter. It's in Casula, not Prestons.
Casula
Pedestrians must be very careful when walking Casula streets.
Casula
Ther's onee obvous speling mistak here in Ingham Drive, Casula, but can you see four more?
Casula
Please give me your phone number again please. Glenfield Road, Casula
Cecil Park
Soh, it's a childcare centre. Elizabeth Drive, Cecil Park.
Chatswood West
Officer in Fullers Road, Chatswood West: You went through the stop sign.
Driver: It ordered me to proceed slowly. Anyway, that's what everyone does at a stop sign.
Cherrybrook
So that's what a car park is - an area for the accommodation of vehicles?
Who would have thought that?

But there's a lot more to learn in Shepherds Drive, Cherrybrook.

Chifley
|
|
But we found a couple of things that they’ll
let you do in Chifley. |
Chiswick
Interview in Tutt Crescent, Chiswick:
'I need your restaurant name. Or the address first, if you want.'
'No Name.'
'Sure. Start with the name.'
'No Name.'
'I said it's OK to start with that. Could you tell me the first word of your restaurant name?'
'No.'
'Why can't you?'
'Why can't I what?'
'Go to the back of the queue.'
Chullora
The original sign for this Chullora property in Anzac Street
probably read: “The contents of any bag or vehicle may
be examined before leaving”. We were impressed by the
addition of the first four lines: "It is a condition
of entry to this property that the person entering may be
requested to permit..".
