Photos - Secrets - Houses (continued)
Warrawee
If you drive along Blytheswood Avenue in Warrawee
you don't see this house as it's below street level. The left part
is built above the jungle; the right side is glass-roofed and therefore
sunlit.
Waverley
We couldn’t post this under “Surprises”
because it’s more of a shock! Cars travel at barely an arm’s
length from the front door!
Not even a pathway to separate you from Waverley’s
Judges Lane traffic. Fortunately it’s not a main road.
Westleigh

Westmead
At Westmead: Prime position, spacious lawn and strong renovation potential, but you may prefer to rebuild.
Westmead
Was Westville Place, Westmead, a victim of the 2005 earthquake? Or is there another explanation, such as an optical illusion?
Willoughby

Just in case you’ve been lying awake
at night wondering what a mangle is, the secret is now out.
Alan spotted one on the veranda of a house in
Willoughby and remembered that they were prolific in his early
days. Mangles either squeezed the water out of your washed
clothes or mangled your fingers. |
Woollahra

And this is the door to our balcony in a lane off Dwyer Lane, Woollahra. |
Woollahra
Wall at royal location on Wallaroy Road, Woollahra? A cell at the Woollahra Prison?

Woollahra
|

No, it's a rather secure residential entrance.

Woolloomooloo
It took me 92 years to learn how to spell it,
but I think I’ve got it right now. Judges Lane, Woolloomooloo,
looks just like it did nearly 150 years ago.
Woolloomooloo
The building is Bland Terrace and it's in Bland Street, Woolloomooloo. But we think it's anything but bland.
