Marrickville

|
A guessing competition on the corner of Beauchamp Street and Livingstone and Warren Roads, Marrickville.
What's going on here?
A clue for you might be that this photo should be in our paintings section.

Mascot
|
|
Mascot isn't Sydney's quietest suburb. Lawrence Hargreaves Drive gives us a
chance to see the abode of those responsible.

Menai
Some street directories like to show a fictitious street to catch illegal street directory copiers.
A perfect choice was Hoad Place, Menai, as Lew Hoad (doubles partner of Ken Rosewall) is one of the few
tennis stars of the era without a street named after him in Menai.
This photo and the next photo are from different editions of the same street directory company!

Hoad Place, Menai, leading from the end of Rosewall Drive across the creek to the park with swings opposite,
would be difficult to drive on.

Monterey
Monterey
Monterey
Ignore the other collections. They're amateurish.
How about my collection, in Monterey Street, Monterey
Miller
Sydney's "Bridge Over Troubled Water":
the district's most impressive pedestrian border crossing
is Miller to Cartwright via the bridge over invisible Cabramatta
Creek.
Mount Lewis
Triumph as Alan reaches the summit of Mt
Lewis after which the suburb is named. He had to negotiate
the climb of over 15 metres.
Narwee
The four neat attics with the equally neat drawn blinds
are on a house in Narwee, just near where Weston Avenue
decides to change its name to Rhonda Avenue.
